Online caption tools are genuinely useful. You upload a video, pick a template and download a captioned clip. For a creator with no editing software, that's great. For an editor working in DaVinci Resolve, the workflow fights you:

Round trips. Export from Resolve, upload, caption, download, import back, and do it again after every change to the edit.
Captions baked into the video. Once they're burned in, you can't regrade the shot, re-time a cut or fix one word without starting over.
Uploads. Client footage leaves your computer, which some clients don't allow.

When an online tool is still the better choice

If you don't use DaVinci Resolve, edit only on your phone, or just need a quick captioned clip with no further editing, an online tool is simpler. Bigger Subs is for people who already edit in Resolve and want captions that fit into that work.
